1. SOLE
The sole is in contact with the road as well as removes water when the tire is rolling. It is made of thick layers of rubber and protects the tire frame from bumps or other damages.
2. SIDE WALL
The side wall is in the side of the tire and lists all the tire information. The side wall protects the frame from abrasion and moisture and it is flexible to withstand continuous contractions during rolling.
3. SKELETON
The skeleton is the basis of a tire and should be strong and flexible to absorb shocks and vibrations. The skeleton is made of layers of steel and rubber.
4. BELT
The belt is a strong perimeter layer between the skeleton and the sole of the tire that ensures stability when changing direction and increases the elasticity of the sole while keeping the skeleton stable.
5. BEAD
The bead is the point of contact between the tire and the rim and consists of a ring-shaped steel wire designed to hold high pressure air between the tire and the rim.
